Playing in the woods

I thought it was about time I took some professional looking photos of my boys!!

The New Park

I took the boys to a new park by our house but was a little disappointed to find out it was not made for kids under the age of 5. The only way to get to the slide is to climb up the rock well or go up a robe latter. By the end of the day Owen got really good at the wall but I still didn't trust him doing by himself!

Ice Cream and Mud

It was super hot last week so I washed the car and let the boys play in the water and mud. They were having so much fun getting covered in mud that I decided to let them do whatever they wanted. I figured it was just mud and they should enjoy it while they still can. Wil took it to the extreme and covered his entire body in mud including his face! While we were outside the ice cream truck came so the neighboor bought the boys some treats! By the end of the day they were covered in mud and ice cream!!

Wil's first Hair Cut

I finally broke down and took Wil to get his first hair cut. I didn't get too much cut off because his hair is so light he would look bald and I love his little curls in the back. Owen decided that he needed a hair cut from Nana too so he could also have a sucker.

Oh ya We MOVED!!!

Guess I should let everyone know that we moved to Sandpoint and opened our own Chiropractic clinic called Northern Lakes Chiropractic Clinic!! You can check out the website which is still under construction!!! www.northernlakeschiropractic.com

Owen's Birthday

Owen turned 3 on March 6 so we had a late birthday party for him at our new house (which sold the next week, so we don't live there anymore) Since we were moving during his birthday we had to have it a little late but he still had a great time. When I asked him what kind of cake he wanted me to make him first he told me Thomas the train but then out of no where he said he wanted John Deer. The kid loves anything John Deer now so it was fitting. At first I thought I would make a tractor but I didn't know how to make one big enough so when we were driving by the John Deer store Owen saw the sign and yelled out "thats John Deer Mommy." So we went with the logo and I bought tractors to go around it. I ended up buying a sheet cake with not frosting since I oven was broke and then decorating until 1 AM the night before. I think it turned out great and Owen loved it!!
Thank you everyone that made it to the party it was great having you all there and Owen loved all his presents!!!

Owen's Photo Shoot

I took the pictures for the Junior Miss program again this year and had my stuff still set up. Owen decided that he wanted to have some pictures taken too so I took a few of him and he had a great time with it!

All I want for Christmas

Yes you all know the song all I want for Christmas is my two front teeth, well I all I want is Wil's two front teeth back!! So here is where I left off on the last blog. It was christmas night and we were at Ryan's parents house. I look over at Wil who is playing with the baby gate that goes downstairs. Then I look at Ryan and say "Is that baby gate safe?" when instead I should have used my Mommy in-stink better and gone over and picked him up. Instead I look back over and see him trying to climb over it and knocking it over. Causing him to ride it down the stairs and hit the bottom hardwood floors. I ran so fast that I saw it all happen in a blink of an eye. There was blood EVERYWHERE!! When I picked him up all I could do was scream, and then I saw that his two front teeth where hanging by gums only. This was the scariest thing that has ever happened in my life and to this day I still want to cry thinking about it.
Since it was christmas there was no dentist on call or returning my calls. So that night I had to put two pairs of socks on each of his hands so he would stop trying to suck his thumb and then hold him all night just so we could get a few hours of sleep. By morning I finally got a hold of a dentist that ended up pulling both of the teeth while I got to hold him down and watch. I was hoping that Ryan would be there to do this but he had a patient call him and needed to be treated so he was working.
Once we got home I tore down the christmas tree and decided that we were done with christmas and that it was the worst christmas ever and that I hated christmas. Next year we will be looking back at this event and be thankful that the only thing he broke was his teeth (which will not come back until he is about 6!!!). So the picture of him with the bow on his head is one of my favorites because it was right before it happened and his little teeth are so cute!!! I took the other picture about 4 days after it happened. I didn't want to remember what he looked like right after it happened. As you can see his lip is still bruised and a little fat. He was amazing how fast he healed. He looks a 100 times better in this picture then he did the day before.
So now we have our little boy who as gotten the nickname Bruiser at our house. He always seems to have a bruise somewhere on his face. I thought this might slow him down but it has only made him stronger. We are so thankful that he is okay now and adjusting well to life with no front teeth!
(i forgot to add that I did call the ER and was told there was not a lot they could do for him and that he needed to see a dentist. Then one of the nurses said one of them could pull the teeth but I thought it best to have a dentist do that. Plus I was kind of praying that they could be saved but that was a no go!)

Christmas Night

We went back to Post Falls Christmas night to spend time with Ryan's Family. It started out great. The boys were loving all their presents and were having fun with their new toys. Then it happened and the wonderful christmas turned into the worse christmas yet. Since I don't have the pictures for this wonderful story on my computer you will all have to wait to hear the tragic story of christmas night!!!

Merry Christmas

We woke-up Christmas morning at my Mom's house. We had lots of presents to open. Owen got a litle too excitted and decided to throw up everywhere. So I spent most of the morning holding him and trying to get him calmed down.I ran upstairs to get his blanket thinking it would make him feel better. On the way down I triped and fell down about 10 stairs head first. It hurt but luckly I was okay! Once all was calm we ate some breakfast and played with new toys and then we were off to Post Falls to see Ryan's parents.
