I took the boys to a new park by our house but was a little disappointed to find out it was not made for kids under the age of 5. The only way to get to the slide is to climb up the rock well or go up a robe latter. By the end of the day Owen got really good at the wall but I still didn't trust him doing by himself!
It was super hot last week so I washed the car and let the boys play in the water and mud. They were having so much fun getting covered in mud that I decided to let them do whatever they wanted. I figured it was just mud and they should enjoy it while they still can. Wil took it to the extreme and covered his entire body in mud including his face! While we were outside the ice cream truck came so the neighboor bought the boys some treats! By the end of the day they were covered in mud and ice cream!!
I finally broke down and took Wil to get his first hair cut. I didn't get too much cut off because his hair is so light he would look bald and I love his little curls in the back. Owen decided that he needed a hair cut from Nana too so he could also have a sucker.
Guess I should let everyone know that we moved to Sandpoint and opened our own Chiropractic clinic called Northern Lakes Chiropractic Clinic!! You can check out the website which is still under construction!!! www.northernlakeschiropractic.com
Owen turned 3 on March 6 so we had a late birthday party for him at our new house (which sold the next week, so we don't live there anymore) Since we were moving during his birthday we had to have it a little late but he still had a great time. When I asked him what kind of cake he wanted me to make him first he told me Thomas the train but then out of no where he said he wanted John Deer. The kid loves anything John Deer now so it was fitting. At first I thought I would make a tractor but I didn't know how to make one big enough so when we were driving by the John Deer store Owen saw the sign and yelled out "thats John Deer Mommy." So we went with the logo and I bought tractors to go around it. I ended up buying a sheet cake with not frosting since I oven was broke and then decorating until 1 AM the night before. I think it turned out great and Owen loved it!! Thank you everyone that made it to the party it was great having you all there and Owen loved all his presents!!!
I took the pictures for the Junior Miss program again this year and had my stuff still set up. Owen decided that he wanted to have some pictures taken too so I took a few of him and he had a great time with it!
